The Rehearsal is a visual artists' spoken word event, convened by Ash Kilmartin and Daniel Tuomey at Koffie en Ambacht in Rotterdam. The Rehearsal exists to provide a space for artists to try works out in front of an audience, works that might be delicate, vulnerable, or still in progress. It allows artists to get a sense of how an audience feels about the work, and how they feel about the work having an audience.
