DEDICATION/DISTRACTION is a studio soundtrack for NEAR / AJAR, Sydney, 17-21 September 2018. It was collaged from music and field recordings with a special nod to Viktor, studio-mate at Vondelweg who'd just moved back to NYC; and to Mitch, who would be listening to these recordings throughout his own studio-days.
NEAR / AJAR, 2016 - 2019, was an exhibition program situated in/on the window of Mitch Cumming's studio at the Sydney College of the Arts, viewed from the external corridor.
